Dragon Tiger is a fast-paced live casino card game where players bet on which side—Dragon or Tiger—will draw the higher card. Following the successful release of Baccarat Live and Multi Table Play, this project extended Pragmatic Play’s live casino portfolio with a game optimized for speed, clarity, and seamless integration into the existing ecosystem.
Context
After shipping Baccarat Live and the Multi Table Play experience, we set out to expand the portfolio with a game that emphasized speed and simplicity. Dragon Tiger was the natural follow-up: a two-side, higher-card wins format that needed to be readable at a glance and consistent with the ecosystem players already knew.

Overview
My role as Senior Product Designer covered the full player interface across desktop and mobile. The goal was to keep the adrenaline of single-card reveals while preserving trust and clarity—clean betting areas, strong hierarchy for Dragon/Tiger/Tie, and results that resolve instantly without visual noise.
Challenge
Because the round time is short and choices are minimal, any hesitation caused by layout or wording hurts flow. We needed a UI that communicates states and odds immediately, scales to small screens, and still carries the premium identity established with Baccarat, without feeling just like a re-skin.
Process
Building on the previous Baccarat Live and Multi Table Play work, we accelerated production by reusing proven components—betting chips, slip logic, timers, and responsive containers—then adapted them to Dragon Tiger’s single-reveal flow. I ran quick comparative reviews, sketched variants for the bet grid and results strip, and iterated wireframes with stakeholders until the round rhythm felt right. Integration with Multi Table Play was a core requirement, so states, sizing, and motion were aligned to drop into the multi-table context with zero friction.
Solution
I designed a compact, high-contrast layout with large tappable regions, clear color coding for each bet, and result banners that resolve the round in a single glance. Animations were tuned to the pace of play so feedback feels crisp, not frantic, and the statistics panel surfaces only what helps the next decision. The interface maintains Pragmatic’s live visual language so players move between tables without relearning patterns.
Results
Dragon Tiger Live launched as a lean, high-engagement table that broadened the live portfolio beyond Baccarat while feeling instantly familiar to existing players. The streamlined UI, rapid rounds, and tight integration with Multi Table Play strengthened cross-sell between tables and reinforced Pragmatic Play’s reputation for fast, polished live games.
