MatchScanner is a complete sportsbook and casino platform designed to deliver a seamless experience across pre-match betting, live sports, casino, and virtuals. My role was to craft a unified UI/UX system that could handle high data density while remaining accessible, intuitive, and engaging on both desktop and mobile.

Sportsbook interfaces face unique challenges: players demand instant access to odds, smooth live updates, and clear navigation between thousands of events. At the same time, operators require a flexible, modular platform that can support multiple product verticals such as live betting, casino, and virtual sports. Overview
The platform was conceived as an all-in-one sports and gaming hub that could seamlessly connect sports betting, live events, casino, and virtual games. It offered dynamic pre-match and live updates, deep navigation structures across leagues and sports, and integrated access to casino and live dealer experiences. Designed with a mobile-first approach, MatchScanner ensured usability and engagement across devices and screen sizes. As product designer, I defined the visual identity, UX patterns, and component system to make the platform scalable while maintaining a consistent, premium look and feel.
Challenge
Designing MatchScanner meant finding a balance between complexity and clarity. Sports betting requires presenting vast amounts of live data — odds, markets, and event details — without overwhelming the user. The challenge was to create a layout that allowed players to browse, filter, and place bets effortlessly while keeping the interface visually engaging and modern. At the same time, the product needed to unify multiple verticals under a single design language so that sportsbook, live betting, and casino felt like one coherent experience rather than fragmented products.
Process
The project began with comparative research into leading sportsbook and casino products to understand industry standards and uncover opportunities for differentiation. I then worked closely with stakeholders to run workshops that aligned on business goals and user priorities. From there, I developed wireframes in iterative cycles, focusing on navigation logic, bet slip interactions, and live data presentation. Once validated, I applied a refined UI palette that combined clarity with a premium feel, making the platform visually distinctive. To ensure flexibility for operators, I also introduced a white-label approach that allowed the platform to be easily reskinned into bespoke solutions for different markets without compromising the underlying UX.
Solution
The solution focused on building a modular interface system that could adapt to the demands of different product verticals while staying consistent for the player. On desktop, the three-panel layout gave clear separation between navigation, markets, and betting slips, while on mobile the design condensed into streamlined menus and collapsible categories to keep browsing fast and intuitive. A dark UI palette, combined with sharp accent colors, enhanced readability and gave odds and live updates strong visual presence. By maintaining a cohesive design language across sportsbook, casino, and live betting, the product reinforced both usability and trust. Prototyping and user testing ensured that event tables, live scores, and navigation flows felt natural and responsive even under high activity.
Results
The final product delivered a polished, high-performance sportsbook and casino environment capable of handling thousands of live events with clarity and speed. MatchScanner successfully integrated sportsbook, casino, live betting, and virtuals into one cohesive platform, creating a smooth experience across devices. Its modular approach made it adaptable to different markets and operator needs, while the premium interface strengthened trust and engagement among players. The end result was a design that struck the right balance between data-rich functionality and accessible user flow, positioning MatchScanner as a competitive, future-proof solution in the iGaming space.
